Meet the FM Coaches


Jennifer A. Brady-Chitjian

Expertise: Writing Coach

Dr. Brady-Chitjian received a BA in Psychology from Dowling College.  She earned a MA in Clinical/Behavior Psychology from CUNY Queens College. Dr. Brady-Chitjian attended John Jay College from 1996-1999 where she studied Criminal Justice with a specialization in Forensic Psychology in the Doctoral Program.   Dr. Brady-Chitjian became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2008 and later received the Doctoral status of BCBA when she completed her Doctorate in Educational Administration from Dowling College.    Dr. Brady-Chitjian has served as an Autism-Behavior Consultant and  as an Adjunct Assistant Instructor in the Psychology Department at Dowling College for 23 years.

Alexander Legg

Expertise:  Clinical psychology

Alexander Legg is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the John Jay College of Criminal justice. He earned his master’s in clinical psychology from the American University of Beirut. He is currently supervised by Dr. Chitra Raghavan. His research is trauma-informed and looks at intimate partner violence and sex-trafficking in LGBTQ+ populations.

Bianca Sugrimsingh

Expertise: Resumes and cover letters 

Bianca is an alumni from JJay with a Bachelor in Forensic Psychology. She also holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University. She is an experienced youth advocate. For the past 10 years, she has supported in the groundwork of increasing high school graduation rates across public schools in the Bronx. Bianca has implemented specific programming in collaboration with the Department of Education to address chronic absenteeism, oversees college and career access programs, and has implemented setting the culture for social emotional development in schools. She is also involved in directing and leading innovative and forward thinking institutions that propel strong youth and communities. Her special expertise is in developing, revamping, and revitalizing programs and systems.

Andrea Tider

Expertise: Career Counseling 

Andrea has over a decade of experience working with students to help them research, identify and ultimately land jobs and internships in their fields of interest. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Ramapo College of N.J., as well as a Master of Science in Organizational Behavior from New York University. She has worked with students across majors at Pace University and New York University, and is excited to join John Jay this spring. Outside of work, Andrea loves running, and this fall completed the NYC Marathon
